Dr. Joshua Ries is an independant contractor. He has been practicing been practicing dentistry for nearly 15 years and Endodontics in the Chicagoland area for more than a decade. Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Dr. Ries received his Bachelors from Tufts University in Political Science and a minor in Art History. He continued his education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he earned his D.M.D. and his Certificate in Endodontics. He is the third generation in his family to practice dentistry.
Dr. Ries is an active member of several dental organizations and has held numerous leadership positions. Currently, he is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society (CDS), American Association of Endodontists and The Coolidge Club. He has served as President of the CDS Northside Branch and currently is a member of the CDS Membership Committee and Mediation Committee. Dr. Ries maintains a Medical Staff position at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in the Department of Dentistry.
Dr. Ries is married with 3 children and a cat. When Dr. Ries is outside of the office he enjoys spending time with his kids, swimming and woodworking. He is an avid Bears and Blackhawks fan.
